Diana Vickers has said that she is not fazed by complaints made about her hand gestures on stage.
The X Factor singer's quirky style has been lambasted by approximately 10,000 fans who have joined Facebook protest groups.
One member said the 17-year-old "has a very cute voice and is quite quirky, but watching her is very, very irritating".
However, Vickers has said that she is not put off by the criticism. "Some people have such a problem with me, I am like a magnet to it all. But I would rather people adore me or despise me than go, 'She’s alright', as that's boring," she told The Mirror.
Earlier this week, X Factor vocal coach Yvie Burnett said that she has advised Vickers to tone down her quirky vocal style for fear people may get sick of it.
