Emma Chawner makes 'X Factor' comeback

X Factor regular Emma Chawner returns to face the judges yet again on tomorrow night's show.

The budding singer first appeared on the ITV1 talent contest in 2007, shocking Simon Cowell by singing in a "baby" voice and wearing a poorly-received dress designed by her father.

Though she was turned away by the panel, Chawner remained undeterred and made a surprise comeback at last year's auditions, where she faced similar rejection.

In tomorrow night's series six launch episode, the 19-year-old tries a new tactic by teaming up with her sister Samantha, 21, to perform Atomic Kitten's 'Whole Again'.

Revealing how she has spent the past year, she explains: "Since I auditioned on The X Factor it's been bad and good really. We got evicted from home because our neighbour made up that I sing on the streets at 3am. We had to live in the car for seven weeks with the cat, the dog and a bird."

She adds: "I've learnt I can sing better with my sister than on my own."

However, Chawner's latest attempt still fails to impress Cowell, who brands the performance "twice as bad as before" and demands that she "never, ever" auditions again.

The X Factor's new run kicks off tomorrow at 7pm on ITV1.
