'X Factor' fans 'want more Dannii footage'

X Factor fans have complained that Dannii Minogue is being overlooked by the show's producers.

The first three audition episodes have heavily featured show boss Simon Cowell and new judge Cheryl Cole, who replaced Sharon Osbourne in June. However, Minogue has been seen far less frequently.

One viewer told the Daily Star: "Unlike some of the other judges, Dannii doesn't make the show about herself. She knows it's all about the contestants - but she's hardly getting a look in."

Another fan added: "Why isn't Dannii getting more air time? This is not just about Simon and Cheryl."

X Factor chiefs and Minogue's agents chose not to comment on viewers' complaints.

However, speaking at an X Factor press conference last month, Aussie star Dannii insisted that it was right for Cole to be the main star in the early weeks. She said: "There is a lot of Cheryl in the opening show but I can understand that. She is the new judge."

Minogue was the most successful mentor on last year's series. The two finalists, Leon Jackson and Rhydian Roberts, both came from her category.
