Minogue 'out in the cold' on 'X Factor'

Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole are heading for "all-out war" on The X Factor, a report claims.

Aussie star Minogue is said to feel abandoned by show boss Simon Cowell, who stood by her as she faced criticism from fellow judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh last year. Instead, Cowell is now believed to be focusing all of his attention on new judge Cheryl.

"Although Dannii and Cheryl seemed to hit it off okay at first, it is becoming an all-out war now," an insider told the Daily Star Sunday. "Because Sharon and Louis were so close, Simon took Dannii under his wing to protect her against all the bitching and backstabbing. But now Sharon is gone Simon doesn't feel Dannii needs looking after any more, leaving Dannii out in the cold.

"Cheryl has been a massive hit on the show with viewers, producers and everyone involved. Dannii hardly gets a look in any more and it is starting to wind her up."

Speaking in an interview with Jonathan Ross on Friday, Cole insisted that she has "no problem" with Dannii. Meanwhile, Minogue has claimed that rumours of a feud are "absolutely not true".
