Dermot O'Leary has revealed that Amy Winehouse asked him for audience tickets to The X Factor.
The talent show's host told the TV Times that the surprise request came while he was on the phone to Russell Brand.
He said: "The other day I was on the phone to Russell Brand and he suddenly hands it over to Amy - who asks me for tickets! But I didn't have any to give her."
Winehouse has also made known her admiration for contestant Eoghan Quigg and sent the 16-year-old text messages of support.
"I was talking to Amy Winehouse!" Quigg said. "It was weird, but cool!"
