Ruth Lorenzo has revealed that she is confident about her chances of winning The X Factor, despite being in the bottom two twice.
The Spanish singer said that she is determined to maintain a positive attitude after making it through to the final five on Saturday night's show.
"Saturday went really well. It was such a buzz and I think if you have positive thoughts and you keep them up it's the best thing you can do," Lorenzo told This Is Surrey.
"It's a very stressful situation to be in and having been in the bottom two twice I thought my energy was gone but I have had so much support from people and they want me to keep fighting and [they think] that I can do it.
"In my mind there is no question - I think I can reach the final. I have gone through all the auditions and live shows and been successful so I don't see why I can't win it."
Lorenzo also confirmed that she has decided to concentrate on the rock genre this weekend following discussions with mentor Dannii Minogue.
She said: "Anyone who likes rock and roll songs will love my songs on Saturday."
