'X Factor' Ruth offered 'string of deals'

X Factor evictee Ruth Lorenzo has said that she has been offered a number of record contracts.

The singer, who was voted off the show two weeks ago, has been approached by a few labels looking to give her a deal.

Lorenzo has revealed that she must wait until she completes the X Factor tour next year before finalising any contracts.

"Lots of people want to give me contracts, I’m so excited. I’m not allowed to sign until the tour’s over. It’s in our contracts," she told The Sun.

"I’m looking forward to the tour because I’ll be with my best friend Alexandra. I miss her and I want her to win."

Public support has also been growing on social networking site Facebook, calling for the star to be entered into this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
