Boyzone back Eoghan for 'X Factor' win

Boyzone have predicted that Eoghan Quigg will be crowned this year's X Factor champion on Saturday night.

The band, who will perform alongside the 16-year-old on the show, said Quigg's Irish heritage will stand him in good stead against fellow hopefuls Alexandra Burke and JLS.

"Let's just say it's going to be a case of the luck of the Irish on the night," said Shane Lynch, speaking at last night's Jingle Bell Ball in London.

The X Factor concludes Saturday at 7.10pm and 9.40pm on ITV1.
