Eoghan: 'JLS were my favourites'

Eoghan Quigg has revealed that he was hoping boyband JLS would win Saturday's X Factor final instead of Alexandra Burke.

The 16-year-old, who finished third in the contest, said he thinks Burke would have gone on to be a successful singer whether she won or not.

"If I'm honest I wanted JLS to win. I know Alex would do well in any case because she is a superstar," he said.

"I'm just so glad to have had the chance to meet her and know her and we'll be able to look back and say we knew her before she was a global superstar. I'm gonna say: 'Alexandra Burke, I've sung beside her on the X Factor stage.'"
