Alexandra Burke has revealed that she plans to stay single for ten years.
The X Factor winner, who was encouraged by mentor Cheryl Cole to avoid relationships, has described men as a "waste of space".
The 20-year-old told Grazia that her career is her priority.
She said: "They’re a waste of time, a waste of space! They’re only going to be good for me when I’m about 30 and thinking about kids. Music is my husband until then."
