Mel B has admitted that she is hoping to replace Dannii Minogue on The X Factor's judging panel this year.
The former Spice Girl confirmed that she is eyeing a place on the ITV1 talent show following persistent rumours that Simon Cowell is planning to axe Minogue.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, Mel confirmed: "Yes, I'd do Dannii's job. Me and Simon see each other in Los Angeles quite a lot. He's nice - funny, jokey and chatty.
"I really need to talk to him about it. I've been a presenter on Dancing With The Stars in the US and I loved it, so I'm sure I'd be good on The X Factor."
Minogue recently insisted that her position on the show is safe, explaining: "The producers and Simon tell me I am returning, so that's all I believe."
