Louis Walsh has tonight lost his second X Factor act in as many weeks.
Last week 2 To Go lived up to their name, putting the three judges on an even playing field with two acts each.
Surprisingly, both of Sharon's acts and both of Simon's acts made it through on the viewers' vote, leaving G4 and VWS in the bottom two positions.
In the final showdown, Sharon voted to eliminate Voices With Soul, reasoning that G4 would have a better chance of a long-term recording career. Simon promptly picked G4, giving Louis the casting vote once again.
After yet another lengthy delay, Louis finally revealed that he would be sending the soul act home.
"God has brought us this far," they said tearfully afterwards. "And you know what? You haven't seen the last of us."
Another artist will be eliminated next Saturday.
