Rex Features

A 16-year-old boy from Scotland tries to impress Cheryl Cole on The X Factor by singing one of her own Girls Aloud hits.

In a scene from tomorrow night's show, Kyle Campbell from Salcourt tells the judges that he loves the girl group and will sing their Top 20 single 'Untouchable'.

However, before he starts performing, judge Simon Cowell interrupts him and says: "We don't like that Girls Aloud song."

Campbell replies: "I picked the song because I like it."

Cole then encourages Campbell to sing the cover, later praising his "great taste in music".

Other performers on tomorrow's show include past contestants Duane Lamonte and Emma Chawner, Irish twins John and Edward and triplets Triple Trouble.
