'X Factor' Olly 'taught himself to dance'

X Factor contestant Olly Murs reportedly taught himself how to dance at home.

The 25-year-old's mother claimed that Murs practised his dance moves from an early age but is preparing to surprise her as the ITV1 series continues.

Speaking to Heat, she said: "He's taught himself how to dance. He said to me the other day, 'You've got a shock in store, Mum - you haven't seen half of it. When I've been out to discos with my mates, they've seen all the moves. There's more to come'."

Murs, who is reportedly dating Laura Henderson from rejected girlband Project A, has also taught himself how to customise his own clothing.

"He bought a jacket once, took the sleeves off and then put them back on inside out. He even has a sewing machine," his mum added.

"He designed a pair of jeans for his sister, and a skirt - he frayed it and sewed different bits on it."

The X Factor continues this Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.
