Walsh apologises for 'X Factor' V-sign

Louis Walsh has apologised after he was seen sticking two fingers up to The X Factor's live audience last night.

The Irish judge turned around to flash a V-sign at the crowd after his act John & Edward received a mixed response to their sing-off performance of Robbie Williams's 'Rock DJ'.

A spokesman for Walsh has now told The Sun: "Louis apologises if any offence was caused."

Walsh has complained about audiences booing the twins in previous weeks, branding those responsible disrespectful and "rude".

John & Edward survived another round of the competition last night after triumphing over Lucie Jones in the sing-off.
