Minogue 'thought Rachel would join tour'

Dannii Minogue has said that she thought her former mentee Rachel Adedeji would perform on some of the X Factor live tour dates.

Adedeji, who was voted off the competition in week four, was not among the acts selected by organisers to perform at next year's shows.

Twitter user Amy (Lucy) Dilkes asked Minogue: "Why isn't Rachel on the X Factor tour! She's one of the best singers in the competition! gutted x".

Minogue responded: "I thought she was doing some of the dates like London?"

However, a show spokesperson told The Mirror: "It has only ever been the final eight on the tour."
