X Factor star Chico Slimani has spoken about his joy after becoming a father for the first time.
The singer's best friend Daniyela Rakic gave birth to baby girl Lalla-Khira Slimani two weeks ago. Slimani had spent one night with Daniyela after filming for the ITV reality series last year.
"I'm the happiest daddy in the world!" he told the News of the World. "The first time I held her in my arms it was a feeling of the greatest love on earth."
He added, "Although I was absolutely delighted I admit I didn't have a clue about fatherhood. But now, although Daniyela and I aren't in a relationship and don't live together, we share everything from changing Lalla's nappies to bathing her. The only thing I don't do is breast-feed her!
"And when Lalla opens those lovely blue eyes I see unconditional love, something which I've never had before."
