Rhydian Roberts hopes to "move his audience" as well as entertain in tonight's X Factor.
The opera singer said he loved working with musical director Nigel Wright in last Saturday's show, and viewed performing in front of a big band as a major achievement.
However, he now wants his voice rather than his “performance” to do the talking, after the show's judges expressed concern that he was peaking too early.
In between practising new song 'You Raise Me Up', the 24-year-old has been entertaining his fellow contestants with his quirky behaviour in the house, including drinking huge volumes of tea and constantly eating apples.
He has also been putting some extra hours in the gym after seeing Andy as Heat magazine’s 'Torso of The Week', saying he is determined to make an appearance himself.
The X Factor continues on Saturday at 6.45pm on ITV1.
