X Factor favourite Rhydian Roberts is "devastated" after discovering that his ex-girlfriend has found love again.
The opera singer started dating Mimi Terris earlier this year but the relationship came to an end because she struggled to cope with Rhydian's strict religious beliefs. Now Mimi has found a new boyfriend in her native Sweden.
A friend of Rhydian told the Sunday Mirror: "He really likes Mimi a lot and he still wants to be in her life. But he is devastated because that looks unlikely to happen now she has moved on and is with her new love."
The pal added: "Rhydian calls Mimi his ex-girlfriend and she has been contacting him asking him to remember the good times they shared. Rhydian has an image of being a straight-laced Christian who doesn't believe in sex before marriage, but somehow he still manages to get these stunning beauties knocking at his door."
Rhydian admitted: "I was very close to Mimi. She was very attractive and we got on really well. I miss her a lot. She was great fun and we had good times together."
